Here's a video by the Australian Ballet about the pointe shoe fitter/ artistic co-ordinater. I know I would kill for a pair of custom pointes, wouldn't that be amazing?

I practically fangirl over my Russian Pointes. They look so well made! The box is absolutely perfect! My only complaint is that the external part of the shank (the sole?) has a big edge to it, so it's hard to balance on flat in arabesque for me. They're definitely my favorites so far though!
For me Russian pointes are the best for my foot, so they are perfect! When i was a beginner Grishko 2007s were my favourite though.

Oh, a girl in my class has them! My only Blochs (serenades) were too narrow for me, but they're really pretty!
