Hello! It's been months since I've posted, due to ballet, my intense class schedule, and my job as a waitress taking most of my time! But I'm still dancing and loving every second. Stay posted for many updates over the next few days!
glad you're back! I'm 13 and i think I'm going to start ballet. But I'm nervous because I'm older than lots of other kids that start ballet. I literally have bad dreams about being in a ballet class with 4 year olds. HELP!!
I started ballet right after I turned 14, and I found a teen beginner class, where I was the youngest person there! None of the other girls, from 17-22 ever took ballet! But when I switched studio's I was 15 years old taking class with 8-11 year olds. I don't regret it for a second. After two years at my new studio, I now dance with girls that are 13-15, and I'm now 17. Sure, they're younger than I am, but we all dance at the same level of difficultly, and that's all that matters! Find a ballet class that fits you! I promise that no dance teacher in the world would stick with with 4 year olds!
So glad that you'll be posting again! I have been following the blog fir a couple of years now and I was sure that you had decided not to continue with it. I hope that day doesn't come anytime soon, and that if it does you'd write a goodbye post to let us know.( I have followed so many other blogs where the writer decides to end the blog and never lets the readers know and just rops off the face of the earth! :-) ). But i can definitely relate to how busy life can get. I'm a junior in HS right now taking all AP classes and between homework, ballet and lif in general I sometimes feel totally overwhelmed too!
Yay! You're back! I'm 14 (almost 15) and this dance season has been my first year of ballet. I am glad to see you post again. You are such an inspiration for me.
Glad to see you're back! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm glad people still check! <3
